Workshop in Kharkiv

Studio lighting is an art, and this workshop became a perfect opportunity to dive into its subtleties. Under the guidance of an experienced photographer, we explored classic lighting setups: how to skillfully work with light for a classical Rembrandt-style portrait, how to set up back and fill light, and how to add that very glimmer in the eyes that brings the portrait to life.
After the technical part, the atmosphere became more relaxed — lenses and flashes passed from hand to hand, and the model Santina became the center of a vivid creative process. Through communication and experimentation, everyone discovered new angles, unusual lighting solutions, and fresh experience. It wasn’t just practice — it was a true exchange of ideas, where studio light became a tool for shaping the mood and character of each shot.
